Now, FIR againstParoo block CO

Patna: After Paroo block circle officer (CO) Anil Bhushan lodged an FIR against BJP’s Sahibganj MLA Raju Kumar Singh and others for allegedly thrashing and abusing him, block Pramukh Abhimala Devi has filed a counter case accusing the officer of indulging in corrupt practices.The CO, who submitted his complaint to the police on April 13, alleged that the MLA assaulted him and revenue employee Chandradeep Kumar when they went to his house on invitation on April 11. Though the matter was reported to police in writing on April 13, the CO’s FIR was registered on April 15 after intervention of the senior officers.

Police said the matter was being investigated after registering both the FIRs. The block pramukh is said to be a supporter of the MLA. “Paroo block circle officer and revenue employee have accused BJP MLA Raju Singh of assaulting them. Cases have been filed from both sides. Police are investigating the case,” SSP, Muzaffarpur, Rakesh Kumar told media persons.
