Patna: BJP national president and Bankipur MLA Nitin Nabin on Saturday reviewed various development schemes underway in his constituency and directed the concerned officials to expedite the works and ensure proper monitoring.Road construction department secretary Pankaj Pal, Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (BUIDCo) managing director Animesh Parashar, Patna municipal commissioner Yashpal Meena, Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation managing director Jitendra Kumar and senior officials from the relevant departments attended the meeting and conducted a detailed review of the progress, quality and timelines of ongoing projects.

Nitin, a former road construction department and urban development and housing department minister, sought updates on several schemes, including the water supply scheme, the chief minister urban development scheme, construction of community halls, roads, sewerage and drainage works, and sanitation projects in his constituency. He instructed officials to ensure that all projects are completed with quality and within the stipulated timeframe, while maintaining transparency and accountability.He also directed officials to prioritise and expedite projects that are facing delays due to technical or administrative reasons. He also asked them to regularly monitor development works and submit weekly progress reports.
