Patna: BJP president
JP Nadda and LJP (RV) chief Chirag Paswan on Friday attacked RJD chief Lalu Prasad and opposition CM face Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.
Addressing a joint rally at Bikram in west Patna, Nadda blamed Lalu for the migration of people and said Bihar progressed under the NDA govt in the last 20 years. “People have to decide whether they want return of jungle raj or development in the state,” he said.
Union minister Nadda said when Lalu was in power, he used to say if the road is built, the police will come and arrest his supporters. “So Lalu told them to go and keep stealing and looting in the village,” Nadda said.
Regarding Tejashwi’s migration poll plank, Nadda told him to ask his father first. “During his rule, people from Bihar used to go to different states of the country, and Lalu used to say that Biharis go wearing a towel and return wearing a suit and tie. Biharis were insulted. But now, Bihar has progressed under CM Nitish Kumar. Therefore, you have to understand whether you want to develop Bihar or return to Lalu’s dark age and jungle raj,” he said.
Nadda asked the voters to vote for the NDA candidates in Bihar assembly elections on Nov 6 and 11 and strengthen the hands of Nitish and PM Narendra Modi.
