Russia’s top presidential envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, has issued a powerful message to the West following Moscow’s public unveiling of its two most secretive nuclear weapons — the Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile and the Poseidon underwater drone. In a post on X, Dmitriev accused Western leaders of “misinterpreting” Russia’s advanced nuclear technology and said that no other nation possesses the small nuclear reactor design now powering Russia’s next-generation arsenal. Calling out “warmongers” in Europe and the UK, Dmitriev declared that the West has gone “strangely quiet” since President Vladimir Putin confirmed successful tests of the so-called “doomsday” weapons. He ended with a cryptic note — “Peace through strength — and even better, through dialogue, respect, and mutual understanding.” Watch for more details.
