BJP has made elaborate preparations for the PM’s roadshow in Patna as part of his election campaign for the NDA candidates for the polls scheduled on Nov 6 and 11. The 14 assembly segments in Patna district will vote in the first phase on Nov 6.
PM’s roadshow will start at 5pm from Dinkar Golambar and pass through Nala Road, Thakurbari Road, Bari Path and Bakarganj to conclude at Udyog Bhawan near Gandhi Maidan after covering approximately 2.8km. Ten welcome points have been set up along the route to greet the PM with petal showers, drum beats and cultural programmes.
BJP Mahila Morcha, Yuva Morcha, and district units have been instructed to ensure a large participation of people, especially women.
Minister and BJP candidate from Bankipur, Nitin Nabin, who is looking after the preparations in the entire route, said Patna is ready to welcome PM Modi. Hoardings, banners, and giant cutouts of PM Modi were being installed at various locations.
Inspector general of police Jitendra Rana said more than 5,000 police personnel will be deployed across multiple locations with a three-layered security plan for the roadshow.
PM Modi had held a roadshow in Patna last time during the Lok Sabha elections last year.
