PATNA: The provisional bail period of the former chief minister and fodder scam accused Laloo Prasad Yadav, which was to expire on Wednesday, was extendedtill the first week of November in RC-63 case by Justice Shashank Kumar Singh of the Patna HC here on Tuesday.
While extending the period, Justice Singh observed that petitioner’s regular bail petition will be decided by Justice Narayan Roy.
Justice Singh was hearing on petitioner’s provisional bail matter in the absence of Justice Roy, who did not attend the court on Tuesday.
The case was related to fraudulent withdrawal of about Rs 50 lakh from the Bhagalpur treasury.
