BOA president Dr Rakesh Chaudhary said the conference would be inaugurated by Union minister of state for health and family welfare Ashiwini Kumar Choubey. “Around 300 delegates, including prominent orthopaedic surgeons from across the world, will participate in the two-day programme,” Dr Choudhary added.

According to Patna-based orthopaedic surgeon Dr Amulya Kumar Singh, the delegates will discuss the growth of total knee replacement procedure at the conference. “Navigated, computerised and manual sessions, insight into revision of total knee replacement implants and panel discussions will be the highlights of the event,” he said, adding three live surgeries on total knee replacement by surgeons from AIOR at Rajender Nagar would be screened for the participants.
