Patna: A 22-year-old man was found hanging with his legs tied at his home in Bhabhua’s Chakbandi Road area in Kaimur district early on Monday morning, with his mother suspecting murder.
According to deceased Bablu Yadav’s mother Geeta Devi, she had gone to her sister’s place, leaving him alone at home. When she returned, she found him hanging from a ceiling fan with a rope. She alleged that her son was murdered and hung with the rope.
“Bablu can’t commit suicide as he was mentally healthy and there was no tension at home,” she said.
Police said all angles are being investigated.
Upon receiving information, Bhabhua police reached the spot and sent the body to the sadar hospital for postmortem. “Prima facie, the incident appears to be a suicide. However, the family has alleged that he was killed. No other family member was present at home at the time of the incident. The incident seems suspicious. No written application has been received from the family members yet. Further action will be taken after the postmortem report comes,” said sub-inspector Sanjay Kumar.
