IPS officials reshuffled

PATNA: Three IGs of the 1980 batch have been promoted to the ADG rank. They include Rajvardhan Sharma, Sunit Kumar and P K Thakur. The state government has also shifted Tirhut Range DIG Arvind Pandey. He is now DIG (railway).
According to a notification issued late on Sunday evening, IG (HQ) Rajvardhan Sharma has been made ADG (CID). The post was lying vacant after Yashwant Malhotra left for Delhi to join CRPF.IG (BMP) Sunit Kumar has been promoted and made ADG, State Crime Record Bureau. The post had remained vacant after the shifting of R R Verma to North Eastern Police Academy. IG (special branch) Pramod Kumar Thakur remains in the special branch but as ADG.
IG (CID) Rajesh Ranjan has been made IG (HQ). Rajvinder Singh Bhatti, who was waiting for posting after his return from central deputation, has been made Tirhut Range DIG in place of Pandey.
