Patna: The Indian Institute of Technology-Patna (IIT-P) on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lincoln University-Australia, for advancing international academic cooperation and research excellence.
The MoU, an important milestone in the academic journey of the institute, was signed by IIT-P director T N Singh and Lincoln University’s CEO Amiya Bhoumick.
“This agreement lays the foundation for a dynamic partnership focused on areas of mutual academic interest, including joint research initiatives, teacher and student exchange programmes, collaborative academic partnerships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies and academic engagements, and the development of innovative and interdisciplinary educational programmes,” Bhoumick said.
Speaking on the occasion, IIT-P director highlighted that this collaboration will create new opportunities for academic excellence, global exposure and impactful research outcomes for the students and teachers of both institutions.
