IAS officers Atul, Vandana shifted

PATNA: The state government on Friday transferred Tirhut divisional commissioner Atul Prasad (1987 batch IAS officer) to social welfare department as its principal secretary. He will replace Vandana Kinni (1989-batch), who will be secretary, Bihar Human Rights Commission.
Darbhanga divisional commissioner R K Khandelwal (1989 batch) has been given additional charge of Tirhut. Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal, a 2005 batch officer of Maharashtra cadre, has been made additional secretary in the chief minister secretariat. He joined Bihar’s general administration department on interstate deputation on April 10 this year.
Principal secretary, mines and geology department, Harjot Kaur (1992 batch) has proceeded on 180 days’ leave. Atul Prasad has been asked to hold the additional charge of mines department.
