Govt reshuffles three senior IAS officers in state
In a bold strategic move, the Bihar government unveiled a major administrative overhaul on Sunday, reshaping key roles within its ranks. The Governor's Principal Secretary, Robert L Chongthu, is now set to lead the minority welfare department, while Gopal Meena ascends to the Governor's Secretary position, adding the responsibilities of Vigilance Commissioner to his portfolio.
Patna: The state govt on Sunday reshuffled three IAS officers, including governor’s principal secretary Robert L Chongthu, who has been posted in the minority welfare department in the same capacity.In his place, the govt has appointed revenue and land reforms department secretary Gopal Meena as governor’s secretary. He will also hold additional charge of vigilance commissioner in the general administration department. Mohammad Sohel will continue to hold charge as vigilance commissioner in the general administration department.Agriculture department special secretary Shailendra Kumar has been appointed district magistrate of Lakhisarai district.
