Patna: Goa CM Pramod Sawant on Saturday said Bihar has changed a lot and expressed hope that the people of the state would elect the NDA govt again in the coming elections.
Sawant arrived in Patna on Saturday morning to attend the NDA workers’ conference in the city and BJP’s ‘Yuva Shankhnad’ programme in Darbhanga.
When asked about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of vote theft and threats to democracy, Sawant said, “Democracy was in real danger during the Congress rule in the country. Under the NDA government, it’s sabka sath sabka vikas.”
Praising the Patna airport, Sawant said he felt as if he had arrived at an international airport. Addressing the Patna event, he added, “The rapid progress Bihar is making today is solely due to the visionary thinking and leadership of
PM Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar.”
Others who participated in the Patna event included Begusarai MP and union minister Giriraj Singh, MPs Sanjay Jaiswal, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Sambhavi Choudhary, former Jehanabad MP Chandeshwar Chandravanshi and JD(U) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad.
