Patna: Quarterly exams for Class XI students and half-yearly exams for class XII students in govt schools will begin on Sept 19, the
Bihar school examination board (BSEB) announced on Tuesday in a letter to all district education officers (DEOs).
The exams for Class XI will be held from Sept 19 to Sept 25, while Class XII exams will take place between Sept 19 and Sept 27. The question papers will be received from the agency between Sept 12 and Sept 17.
The BSEB directed DEOs to ensure all arrangements are completed on time, including the receipt of question papers by the head of all recognised institutions in their districts before the start of the exams.
“The head of the educational institution or their representative will give clear instructions at their level to ensure that its confidentiality is not breached under any circumstances,” the board said. It added that heads of institutions must provide accurate details of students appearing in the exams to the DEO before commencement.
The institutions have also been asked to submit the marks obtained by students in the half-yearly and mid-term exams to the board office by Oct 10.
