British envoy calls on tourism minister
Patna: British deputy high commissioner (east and north-east India), Andrew Fleming, met with tourism and industry minister Nitish Mishra on Thursday. During the courtesy call, the two discussed matters of mutual cooperation.The tourism minister urged the deputy high commissioner to facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge in tourism, culture and industrial development. Mishra also briefed Fleming on the state's emerging tourism sector. He invited the British envoy to the upcoming Global Investor Summit Bihar Business Connect 2024, scheduled to take place in Patna on December 19 and 20.Mishra also called for organising friendship programs between Bihar and Britain to encourage cultural exchange and enhance capacity building among residents.
