Bollywood tune accompanies police notices

Patna: Vaishali police served notices to three absconding accused in the Himanshu murder case with a band playing the Bollywood tune ‘Aaye Hain Baraati’ at Narayanpur Dumduma village on Wednesday. Notices warning the accused to surrender or face property attachment were pasted on their homes, drawing a large crowd of villagers.“The action was taken against Akanshu Kumar, Rahul Kumar, and Golu Kumar alias Jigyashu Kumar, among nine named in the murder of a jewellery and utensils trader, Himanshu, on Nov 20. Police also issued public announcements warning of strict action if they fail to surrender soon. An FIR was registered against nine named accused in the matter,” said Vaishali SHO Raj Kumar. The police conducted the action under case number 831/25.
