Patna: Acting on directions of the chief justice of Patna high court, the Bihar State Legal Services Authority (BALSA) will organise a legal awareness programme on Sunday to review the implementation of welfare measures envisaged under various schemes of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) programme 2015 for workers belonging to the unorganised sector in Bihar.
The NALSA 2015 programme comprises a range of welfare measures to provide free legal services to marginalised, vulnerable and weaker sections of society, including mentally ill and differently-abled persons, transgenders, victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, tribals and impoverished sections.

The programme will be held at Urja auditorium in the Rajbanshi Nagar locality of the state capital, in the presence of Patna high court chief justice Sangam Kumar Sahoo and justice Sudhir Singh, who are the chief patron and executive chairman of BALSA, respectively. Sitting judges of Patna high court will also be present on the occasion.
