PATNA: The state government on Thursday appointed retired
IAS officer and former development commissioner Atul Prasad as chairman of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), replacing R K Mahajan who will retire on Friday, reports Abhay Singh.
Prasad, who had retired as development commissioner in February this year, will take charge from Mahajan on Friday.
The term of office of BPSC chairman and its members is for six years or up to 62 years of age.
