Patna: ISc city topper Ankit Raj was expecting 430 marks after writing his papers, but is happy with 425 or 85% marks he has got.
Son of engineer Rakesh Kumar and professor Sapna Kumari, Ankit wants to pursue civil engineering and has cleared admission tests of several private colleges.
"I had focused on my board exams completely and prepared for it in a systematic manner," says the Kankerbagh resident, who has not cleared the JEE (Mains) exam.

However, instead of dropping a year, the ISc Patna topper prefers to take admission in any of the private colleges he has got through. "After completing my engineering, I want to prepare for civil services exams," says Ankit who passed Class X from DPS, Pinjore, Chandigarh, with 10 CGPA.
