PATNA: Effecting a major administrative reshuffle, the state government today transferred 30 IAS officers and made development commissioner A K Sinha the new chief secretary
Sinha, a 1976 batch IAS officer, will serve as the chief secretary till further orders after taking charge from the incumbent Naveen Kumar who retires from service on August 31 next, an official notification issued by the general administration department (GAD) said.

Principal secretary (Panchayati Raj) Phul Singh has been made the new development commissioner.
State planning commissioner adviser Anil Kumar has been appointed the chief adviser, while principal secretary (Industries) Alok Kumar Sinha has been transferred and made the agriculture production commissioner.
Principal secretary (Water Resources) Afzal Amanullah has been directed to hold the additional charge as the principal secretary (Industries).
Principal secretary (Agriculture) Anjani Kumar Singh has been transferred and made the principal secretary (Cabinet secretariat).
Tirhut division commissioner SK Negi has been transferred and made the Patna divisional commissioner, while additional departmental investigation commissioner Amitabh Verma has been made the principal secretary (Panchayati Raj).
Principal secretary (Parliamentary Affairs) has been upgraded in the pay scale of Rs 80,000 with effect from September this year and made the additional departmental investigation commissioner.
