3 Maoists held in Muz village
Muzaffarpur: Three Maoists including a self-styled area commander Md Wasim Akram, who were wanted in more than a dozen cases were arrested from Andaul village under Baruraj PS on Wednesday.
SSP Ranjeet Kumar Mishra said, "Four country-made pistols, 12 live cartridges, five packets of heroine, one knife and 14 Maoist handouts were recovered from their possession."
The SSP said a special task force of district police raided the village on a confidential information that some Maoists had gathered in the house of one Akram to commit some major crime in the area.Policemen surrounded Akram's house and nabbed all the Maoists .
