3 held for firing over land dispute in Patna
Patna: A land dispute between two groups turned violent at Pasi Faridpur village under Janipur police station in Patna district on Thursday, leading to gunfire and the arrest of three people.Acting swiftly on the information, police conducted raids and recovered a rifle, live cartridges, empty shells, and an air gun from the house of the main accused. The team, led by the SDPO II of Phulwarisharif, Deepak Kumar, along with Janipur SHO Naveen Kumar Singh, reached the spot and conducted searches, and arrested three people directly involved in the incident.

“The arrested persons have been identified as Baiju Prasad Gupta and his two sons — Sujit Kumar and Rohit Kumar, all residents of Pasi Faridpur village. A formal case has been registered at Janipur police station. The crime spot has been secured and further legal proceedings are in progress,” the SDPO said.
