Patna: Around 160 G20 delegates visited the Patna Sahib Gurdwara at 7.30am on Friday and paid their obeisance at the Takht Sri Harimandir Sahib. “They took off their shoes, washed their hands and foot, and paid their obeisance at the Takht Sri Harimandir Sahib,” said Jagjot Sohi, president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. Proper arrangements for their welcome were made at the meeting hall of the gurdwara, he said.
Sohi said the delegates were given a warm welcome with each receiving an orange Gur siropa (scarf) of honour. They also participated in the bhajan and kirtan organised at the Gurudwara and had a privilege of seeing the Guru Granth Sahib, he added.
