Patna: State govt on Saturday transferred altogether 15 young Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, posted two Bihar Police Service (BPS) officers as the sub-divisional police officers (SDPOs) and modified the recent transfer orders of two senior IPS officers.
The govt also relieved the 1996-batch IPS officer Nayyar Hasnain Khan (ADGP, EOU) for the central deputation to join as the inspector general in the SSB.
As per notifications issued by the home department, Patna district got five new SPs—SP (Rural) and SP (Traffic), city SP (Patna east), City SP (Patna west) and City SP (Patna Central), and four new SDPOs at Patna Sadar-1, Patna City, Barh and Phulwarisharif.
