NEW DELHI: Motorists traveling towards the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway are expected to face traffic congestion near Dalit Prerna Sthal on Friday, in observance of Mahaparinirvan Diwas for Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar.
In light of this, the Noida traffic police have issued an advisory urging commuters and motorists to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
Over the past few days, areas along the Noida-Delhi border and neighboring UP cities have experienced heavy traffic due to a farmers' protest march towards the capital.
On Thursday, traffic was also disrupted on the Ghazipur border after senior Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were stopped by UP police while attempting to visit violence-hit Sambhal.
