Noida: Noida International Airport has appointed Mann Fleet Partners Limited as its ground mobility services partner, ahead of the airport's operational rollout next month.
The company will provide rental cars, premium kerbside pick-up and drop-off, and operate intra-terminal and intra-city shuttle services. Bus connectivity will link the airport to Pari Chowk, Botanical Garden and Greater Noida West. Additional routes are proposed to be introduced in phases, expanding the airport's surface transport grid as passenger traffic scales up.
Given that the metro and rapid rail links to the airport are still a few years away, the airport officials believe that the tie-up will strengthen last-mile connectivity and improve passenger convenience.
Chief executive officer of Noida International Airport Christoph Schnellmann said in a statement, "Seamless and efficient ground transportation is fundamental to a world-class passenger experience, and we are committed to delivering this at the airport. This partnership with Mann Fleet Partners Limited is another step towards our dedication to providing diverse, reliable, and high-quality mobility solutions." He added that the collaboration will help ensure convenient and hassle-free journeys to and from the airport for passengers and employees.
Managing director of Mann Fleet Partners Limited Amrit Mann said the company will leverage its fleet strength and operational experience to support the airport's long-term growth.
The latest tie-up complements the airport's existing arrangements with Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation, Delhi Transport Corporation, Haryana Roadways and Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, which together link the upcoming airport to over two dozen cities across four states.
The airport is being developed by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, a subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, under a 40-year public-private partnership concession that began on Oct 1, 2021. In the first phase, the airport will have a runway and a passenger terminal with a capacity of 12 million passengers annually, scalable to over 70 million passengers per year in subsequent phases.
