Domestic help ‘jumps from 18th floor’, dies

Noida: An 18-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping off the 18th floor of a highrise residential apartment in Sector 120. The woman, Chunmun, worked at a house in R G Residency. She was from Bareilly district.
Zahir Khan, SHO of Phase III police station, said that the incident took place on Tuesday midnight.
“The victim allegedly opened the balcony of the flat and jumped off when the family members were asleep.She was critically injured as she fell on the ground. Some security guards rushed to the spot and alerted the residents when they heard the noise,” Khan said.
The residents informed police and rushed the victim to a private hospital where she was declared brought dead.
The woman had suffered multiple fractures, head injuries and blood loss.
