Documentary on mountaineer from Noida to hit screen

NOIDA: A 52-minute-long

documentary

on Noida-based mountaineer Arjun Vajpai will be released in the theatres of Noida, Delhi and four other cities on March 1.

In the documentary, ‘The Mountain Within,’ Vajpai talks about his decade-long journey in the Himalayas and how he overcame the obstacles to become a seasoned mountaineer. Vajpai is the youngest mountaineer in the world to summit six out of the total 14 mountains which are 8,000 metre high.

Vajpai came to limelight in 2010, becoming then the youngest person to summit Mt. Everest at the age of 16. Later, he climbed the Mt. Lhotse (2011), Mt.

Manaslu

(2011), Mt.

Makalu

(2016), Mt. Cho Oyu (2016) and Mt.

Kangchenjunga

(2018).
