: A couple, who posed as

Indian Foreign Service

officers to get personal security officers and duped many people on the promise of school admissions, was arrested on Thursday.


Zoya Khan (33) and her 29-year-old husband Harsh Singh were nabbed from Gaur City Housing Society on Thursday. Two vehicles - a Mercedes with a UN logo on it and a Mahindra XUV 500 fitted with a blue beacon - a laptop and fake ID cards were recovered from their possesion.

According to the police, Zoya had earlier hoodwinked Meerut police into believing she was a joint secretary-rank IFS officer posted at the United Nations in order to get a personal security officer for her and her husband.

Her luck, however, ran out when Gautam Budh Nagar police began an investigation to verify her credentials.
