Step-dad molests girl, arrested

Navi Mumbai: A courier firm employee in Kopri village has been arrested after his 20-year-old step daughter lodged a police complaint saying he had molested her. The girl, an HSC student, has been staying with her brother and the accused after her mother passed away two months back, sub-inspector Dhanashree Pawar said. “On June 6, when she was alone at home, the accused abused her and touched her inappropriately,” the officer said. He was produced before a Vashi court. The girl’s own father died when she was 5-years-old.
