NAVI MUMBAI: An unidentified thief broke the window pane of a parked car and decamped with a bag containing Rs 2.9 lakh cash. The incident took place on Thursday around noon in the parking lot of a building in sector 35, Kamothe. The cash was stolen from the car owned by a resident, Hitesh Ravaria (30).
API Pravin Desai said that two suspicious persons have been spotted in the CCTV footage, who may have committed the theft.

“The theft took place under the nose of seven security guards deployed in the complex, which has CCTV camera surveillance system installed,” he added.
