Navi Mumbai: Duo held for possession of illegal firearm

NAVI MUMBAI: Acting on a tip, the

Vashi police

arrested two youths near

Vashigaon underpass

and recovered a

country-made revolver

from them on Tuesday.

The accused duo, Matin Khan, and Badarul Khan have been booked under the Indian Arms Act along with Maharashtra Police Act.

The accused youths were produced before the Vashi JMFC court and have been remanded to police custody till March 9.
