on Tuesday to mark

World Autism Awareness Day

The initiative was taken by NMMC ETC center under the supervision of its director Dr Varsha Bhagat. The objective was to push for acceptance and inclusion of the special children. “ The parents as well as the society in general should understand the hidden talents and strength of the special children because many of them are amply gifted,” said Dr Bhagat. Dressed in blue that symbolizes autism, the children and the volunteers also performed street plays and took part in games.

Children from the Vashi based Sunshine School for autistic children also participated with great enthusiasm to support the cause.
