Senior officers of the rural police said, “Officers’ incharge of the concerned police stations are held responsible if any illegal activity is found in their police jurisdiction. They also have to give an explanation to their senior officers about the reason why illegal activity was operational in his jurisdiction.”
The police said that they have also started sensitizing police patils of all villages to inform them if any illegal business was operating in their village.
