Maharashtra: Police step up action against gambling & liquor sale

On Tuesday, the Ambad police booked a person on the charge of illegally stocking and selling country-made liquor.
The Panchavati police too booked a person for selling country-made liquor illegally in the Valmik Nagar area and seized cash and liquor worth Rs 2,700 from him. On the same day, the Nashik Road police raided a gambling den in the Jail Road area and booked four people.
