Nashik: The city has been experiencing cool nights and warmer days over the past few days due to fluctuations in temperature. The minimum temperatures have been between 14°C and 15°C, and the maximums have risen over the past few days.
The maximum temperature, which was 31.8°C around five days ago, rose to 34.3°C on Monday, but dipped to 33.4°C on Tuesday due to cloudy weather conditions. The city also witnessed cloudy weather conditions for a few hours on Tuesday afternoon.
Earlier, on Friday, the minimum temperature touched 19°C, but dropped to 14°C on Sunday. On Tuesday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 14.9°C.
"Early mornings are cold. I feel the chill when I go for morning walks. But I feel warmer during the afternoons," said Swapnil Joshi, a city resident.
In Niphad, the the grape-growing belt of the district, a minimum temperature of 12.7°C and a maximum temperature of 28.7 °C was logged on Monday. The maximum temperature dropped by 4.4° in the past 24 hours, from 32.4°C on Monday to 28°C on Tuesday.
On the same day last year, the minimum and maximum temperatures of Niphad were recorded at 11°C and 34°C, respectively.
