NASHIK: A four-member fact-finding committee formed to identify lapses and recommend action in the alleged sexual harassment case at TCS's Nashik facility visited the city on Saturday and met with police officers and survivors.
"The committee conducted a meeting with officials at the Maharashtra Environment Engineering Training and Research Academy campus. During the meeting, the panel members gathered details of the case and also reviewed whether any complaints related to sexual harassment under the POSH Act was registered internally with the company," a senior Nashik city police officer said.
The committee members also inspected the TCS facility in Nashik and other relevant locations to assess the circumstances surrounding the alleged incidents. The members interacted with some of the complainants as part of their inquiry. In addition, the committee held discussions with firm officials to understand their response to the complaints.
The committee includes Justice (retired) Sadhna Jadhav of Bombay HC, former Haryana director general of police BK Sinha, Supreme Court advocate Monika Arora, and Lilabati, senior coordinator of the National Commission for Women.
