Nashik: Vehicular movement on four stretches of roads will be banned from 5am to 12pm and from 3pm to midnight every day till October 8 on account of Navaratra.
The four road stretches that will remain closed are from Modak Signal to Sandeep Hotel Corner, NMC commissioner’s office to Ground Water Survey office, Chandak Circle to Sandeep Hotel and Mahamarg Bus stand to Sandeep Hotel. The movement of all kinds of vehicles, including handcarts and bullock carts, will be banned till October 8.
All motorists, including state buses, will be diverted from Modak Chowk Signal towards Khadkali singal and further move towards Nashik road or Cidco. Motorists from Mumbai Naka coming into the city will be diverted towards Mahamarg bus stand, Tupsakhre Lawns, Chandak Circle and move towards the city from Bhavani Circle.
Vehicles going from the city towards Ambad and Satpur will have to move towards Dwarka, from where they will proceed towards Garware T Point and then go to Satpur MIDC. Heavy vehicles from Dwarka Circle moving towards Panchavati will have to take Kannamwar bridge, Santosh T-Point, Rasbihari High School and move towards Panchavati.
Motorists going from Sarda Circle to Gadkari Chowk will have to take N D Patil Road, Kitkat junction and the Modak signal.
Meanwhile, on account of the rush of devotees at the Renuka temple in Bhagur, police have banned all kinds of vehicles from Chintamani Chaufuli to Naka Number 2 on the Rest Camp Road from 5am to 11am and from 4pm to midnight every day from Sunday to October 8.
Thus, vehicles from Bhagur to Deolali Camp, including state buses, will have to take a right from Chintamani junction and move towards Army Gate junction, Temple Hill Road, Power House T Point, Shigve village, left from Barnes School, left Lehevit Railway by-pass point to move towards Naka Number 2.
