Youth cheats five by offering jobs
Bhandara: A Std 12 pass youth is accused of cheating five rural youngsters by taking money from them on the pretext of giving them a job with the defence forces. The local crime branch (LCB) of Bhandara police has arrested the accused Narendra Ramesh Chandewar and registered an offence against him. Chandewar is a resident of Bampewada, and had himself appeared for National Defence Academy (NDA) entrance examination conducted by UPSC.

It was from that experience that he got the idea of cheating the youngsters. He took Rs1.3 lakh each from the five youths and even issued them appointment letters with due signature and stamps of authorities.
It was only after the youngsters went to join their supossed duties, that they realized that their papers were fake. They lodged a complain with the central vigilance department, New Delhi who forwarded it to Bhandara police for proper action.
Police recovered Rs5 lakh cash, one laptop, rubber stamps and other such material. He is under magisterial custody .
