Two crushed under wheels of reversing truck

Nagpur: Two persons died after a reversing truck ran over their motorcycle near the back gate of an engineering college on Shivangaon Road under MIDC Police Station limits on Monday.Vicky Kale (32), a resident of Wadi, and his friend Kishore Lohe (42), a resident of Narkhed, were riding a motorcycle at around 12.30 pm, when the truck, coming from MIDC towards Shivangaon, suddenly reversed to give way to an oil tanker.Cops said that the truck driver, wearing headphones, allegedly ignored repeated honking and carelessly reversed the vehicle, crushing both riders under the wheels. The driver then drove away from the spot. Both victims were rushed to AIIMS Hospital but were declared dead.On the complaint of Sanjay Mahadevrao, a case has been registered against the truck driver under Section 106(1), 281 BNS and Sections 134, 184, 187 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
