A 3-year-old girl who had fallen from her third floor residence at Rajat Complex in Zingabai Takli while playing on Sunday afternoon died on Wednesday morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

NAGPUR: A 3-year-old girl who had fallen from her third floor residence at Rajat Complex in Zingabai Takli while playing on Sunday afternoon died on Wednesday morning while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Police said that Kashish Bhaktani and her cousin were busy playing in the balcony when she slipped and fell down. According to the cops, the victim's father was at office while her mother was busy talking to her younger sister when the incident took place.
The incident came to light when the residents on the ground floor heard her screams and alerted her mother, who rushed her to a private hospital at Mankapur.

The body of the deceased was sent to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital (IGGMCH) for post mortem. Gittikhadan police have registered a case of accidental death.
In another incident, Navneet Deshmukh, a 10-year-old boy, was electrocuted while attempting to remove his kite from an electric pole at his residence at Gurukunj Nagar on Monday evening. The victim died while undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Tuesday night.
According to the police, Deshmukh was flying a kite on the terrace of his residence. He reportedly used an iron rod to remove his kite stuck in electric wires and suffered major burn injuries. He was rushed to GMCH where he died. Hudkeshwar police have registered a case.
