Students relieved as accounts paper sticks to textbook
Nagpur: One of the most dreaded subjects in Commerce stream, book-keeping and accountancy’s examination on Monday was only moderately difficult, bringing relief to students.
The HSC board exam was conducted with requisite Covid precautions and students were seen leaving with happy faces, while some were not as satisfied with their performance.
Talking to TOI, students of MKH Sancheti Public School and Junior College said textbook reading and thorough practice was enough to ace the accounts exam.
Dipanshu Girdhar said, “My exam went pretty well. I followed the prescribed textbook to prepare for it, which paid off for me. However, there were a few difficult questions in the paper.”
Devika Patle found the exam very easy and was overjoyed with her performance. Patle said, “Today’s exam was very easy and I could answer all the tally questions with zero difficulties. Today’s paper was based entirely on the textbook and therefore, thorough practice and revision of the textbook is a must.”
Despite being satisfied with her performance, Khushi Asudani was unsure whether the questions asked were easy to solve or not. Asudani said, “The exam was easy but a few questions were tricky. It took me a while to solve those questions.”
Rishab Golange said the paper was neither easy nor difficult. “I finished my exam before time, which gave me some spare minutes to check my responses,” Golange said.
Arya Jahagirdar said the paper was easier than expected. “I am satisfied with the offline exam as I could solve it easily, and am expecting good scores in this subject,” Jahagirdar added.
