RTO inspector among 2 held for accepting bribe

Nagpur: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Wednesday nabbed two persons, including a motor vehicle inspector of Regional Transport Office (City), at the Kandri check post within the jurisdiction of Ramtek police station, for accepting a bribe of Rs1,000 from a trailer driver.The arrested duo was identified as motor vehicle inspector Abhijit Tale and agent Sushil Ramtekkar. Police also seized cash 4.3 lakh from the office at the check post.The arrest was made under guidance of ACB superintendent Dr Digambar Pradhan, addl superintendent Baviskar, and Vijay Mahulkar and others.
