NAGPUR: Judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) R B Raja on Tuesday extended the magisterial custody remand (MCR) of notorious tiger poacher Ajit Rajgond by two days till October 17. Ajit was sent to MCR by the court after a medical examination on October 9. His reports were said to be normal. Ajit and his accomplice Saranki, who is in forest custody till October 17, has confessed to killing a tiger by laying a steel trap.
Meanwhile, the forest department plans to take custody of tiger skin trader Sarju Bagdi and Ajit for interrogation. Both will be produced in the court on October 17, till the time when the duo are in MCR.
