Ex-corporator shot dead in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain; wife detained
UJJAIN: A former Congress corporator was killed by gunfire at his home in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, on Friday morning. Following the incident, the police detained his wife, according to an official.
Haji Kalim Khan, alias Guddu, around 60 years old, was shot in the head at his home in Wazir Park Colony at 5am, according to police sources.

Authorities have detained his wife, and initial investigations indicate that the murder stemmed from a family land dispute.
An attempt on Khan's life had also been made a few days ago, he added.
