Pharmacy employee ‘steals’ medicines worth Rs6L

Nagpur: An employee allegedly stole medicines worth around Rs6 lakh from the pharmacy store where he worked at Chhatrapati Chowk in Dhantoli police station limits.The cops registered an offence against one Aquib Shaikh after he was spotted in CCTV footage leaving the pharmacy with the medicine stock. Shaikh has been employed with the pharmacy for around four years as an executive. He likely sneaked out with the medicines between November and December last year. The theft came to light during an internal audit, said police.
