Newly married girl ends life

NAGPUR:Newly married Payal Jadhav (19), resident of Jaitala, committed suicide by hanging herself to the ceiling hook at her residence on Saturday morning.
No suicide note was recovered, police said. It is learnt that Payal’s husband was unemployed. Her relatives said Payal had shared her plight with her parents but they decided to given a chance to her unemployed husband, Avinash (24), to save their marriage.
Harish Hiwrade, Payal’s in laws said that Payal’s in laws had demanded dowry.
“We would file the case of accidental death and if Payal’s parents lodge complaint against her in laws, we would register the offence under relevant sections,” said senior PI Sunil Mahadik. Investigations are in progress.
