Minor girl abducted, raped

: Two youths and a woman have been arrested for the abduction of a minor girl near Khodgaon village in the district. One of the accused men also allegedly raped the girl.

town, abducted the 15-year-old girl from her house in Mohali on September 1 around 3pm. She took the girl to a car where Dinesh Rathod and

Mangesh Wasnik

were waiting for them. The accused took her to

Tumsar

and Varathi and finally they took her to a remote house in village Khodgaon and Mangesh Wasnik raped her. After the girl’s father lodged a missing person complaint, Mohali police swung into action, rescued the girl and arrested the accused.
