Maharashtra Youth Congress launches ‘Maajha Gaav-Maajhi Shakha’ campaign

Maharashtra Youth Congress (MYC) today launched their Maajha Gaav-Maajhi Shakha (My village, my branch/unit) campaign by inaugurating the first ‘shakha’ in Nagpur. Kunal Raut, president of MYC, said, “Through this initiative, youth activists will solve people’s problems. This is the main objective of this.”
In urban areas, the campaign may also be christened ‘Maajhi Vasti, Maajhi Shaakha’.

In the recent meeting of MYC held in Mumbai, Raut directed office bearers across Maharashtra to establish a branch in each assembly constituency of their district.
Following this, the first branch was established at Nawa Nakasha in North Nagpur assembly constituency.
During the inauguration event, Youth Congress district in-charge Srinivas Nalamwar, MYC general secretaries Asif Shaikh and Pankaj Savarkar, Youth Congress Nagpur district president Tausif Khan, Satish Pali, Chetan Tarare, Babu Khan, branch president Sheikh Ehfaz, vice president Ankit Saravan, branch organizer Nishad Indurkar, general secretary Mohammad Shabbir, Sunny Tambe, Ayaz Ansari, Shahid Ali, secretary Sheikh Hakeem, Imroz Ali and Shahzad Khan were present.
