Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader booked for raping minor

AMRAVATI: Rajapeth police have booked city vice-president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Santosh Badre for allegedly kidnapping and raping a minor girl.
According to information, the 15-year-old minor girl lodged a complaint against the MNS leader on Thursday night.
In her complaint the girl stated that Badre had kidnapped her from Shiv Mandir in Hamalpura, took her to Chikhaldara and raped her.He then dropped the girl at Hamalpura, called her mother and told her to take girl with her. The girl along with her mother and maternal uncle lodged complaint with Rajapeth police.
Badre, a resident of Bhaji Bazaar, was in contact with the victim's mother from last year. Victim is SSC student. Police have registered offences against Badre and investigating further.
